An ideal location for parties and events, we have facilities to create whatever kind of function suits your needs. Whether it be an anniversary, birthday or reception for christening, awards evenings we have the venue for you. Why not leave all the arrangements to us and just enjoy yourself!
The Oakwood Centre is fully accessible, has highchairs and baby changing facilities and has two disabled parking spaces that can be booked in advance of your event.
Full in-house catering service
Catering at the Oakwood Centre provides a full range of catering services to hirers to the highest quality cuisine to suit every budget. Anything from a finger buffet, BBQ or silver service dinner - you choose! Hog roasts with all the trimmings are also available.
Menus can be provided for your perusal, or alternatively, a consultation can be made and a menu designed to your own specifications and budget. A licensed bar is also available for your event. We are committed to ensuring your event runs smoothly from start to finish!
The Oakwood Centre does not take bookings for 18th or 21st Birthday Parties.
We are happy to cater for anniversaries, christenings, wakes or birthdays (over 25yrs) All laws pertaining to underage drinking will apply at these events.
All bookings at the Oakwood Centre require a £200.00 refundable damage deposit in addition to the cost of your room hire. This will be refunded after the event, providing everything has been left in good order.
* by law, it is not permitted to serve alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 - ID will be requested. It is also illegal for anyone to purchase alcohol on an under 18 year old's behalf.
